Danny Kwan was the son of James Kwan, the principal of Smallville High School. He worked as an Air Force recruiter in Smallville.

Season OneEdit

Danny was the driver responsible for a hit-and-run accident which injured Justin Gaines, permanently paralyzing Justin's hands.

Principal Kwan tried to protect his son Danny and claimed responsibility for the car accident. As a result, Justin mistook him for the driver who had hit him and killed Principal Kwan for revenge. After Clark visited Danny to try and find out what happened to Principle Kwan, Danny admitted to being the driver.

He later decided to turn himself in.
