Get away from us, you freak! - Holly to Eric after witnessing his powers
Eric Summers had a crush on Holly, describing her as the girl of his dreams. He offered her a piece of a meteor rock to help with her geology class assignment and later boldly asked Holly on a date and terrorized her boyfriend Brent, threatening to crush him with a truck. When Clark tried to stop him, Eric threw him several feet. He landed on the top of a car, unconscious. Horrified, Holly told him to get away from her and called him a freak.

Brent and Holly in 2004?
- In the Season Three episode Hereafter, there is a Smallville Crows player, whose jacket gives his name as "Brent", who speaks with an unidentified blond girl (seemingly his girlfriend). It is unknown if the two are Brent and Holly from the episode Leech (with the two roles being recast).
- Holly's last name was never established in the episode Leech. In the Season Four episode Commencement, a blond Smallville High student named Holly Harold is present in the graduating class (which Holly from Leech would be part of). It is possible that Holly and Holly Harold are the same person.
