Zach was infected with kryptonite-laced Stride gum and gained super speed. He confronted Clark Kent in the Stride gum factory and used his superspeed against Clark. Clark managed to calm him down and his powers mysteriously disappeared. Zach was last seen trying to find Chloe Sullivan.
