The ability to heal at accelerated rates (also known as regeneration) has been achieved by Kryptonians, Kryptonian technology, kryptonite-infected metahumans, and human technology.
There are two forms of healing: a healing factor which allows someone to heal at a faster rate, and a healing power, which allows one person to heal another.

[edit] Kryptonians
Kryptonians under a yellow sun have a healing factor that lets them heal from any injury almost instantly, as long as they are not exposed to green kryptonite. Their self-healing ability is rarely displayed however, due mainly to Kryptonians' state of near-invulnerability.
[edit] Kryptonian technology
Several Kryptonian objects have been embedded with Kryptonian technology that can heal both humans and Kryptonians:
Clark's ship was able to emit a healing ray. Once, the ship emitted a ray that cured Martha Kent of her infertility, while another time it healed both Clark and Martha from their exposure to kryptonite spores.
Kryptonian healing technology was also embedded in the Crystal of Fire; Lex Luthor had been poisoned by his father, and his blood must be purified every 72 hours, but the Crystal of Fire healed him. It also restored Clark's powers when they were stripped away by Margaret Isobel Thoreaux.
Healing technology must have also been embedded in the Crystal of Water; after Clark and Lionel Luthor switched bodies back and forth using the Water Crystal, Lionel was cured from a fatal liver cancer after being possessed.
Milton Fine created a vaccine that gave a Kryptonian-style healing factor to Lex, as part of the process of preparing Lex for possession by General Zod.
[edit] Kryptonite-infected metahumans
A few separate kryptonite-infected metahumans have developed healing powers allowing them to heal others:
Cyrus Krupp was able to heal others with his hands. He healed Whitney Fordman's horse Tyson, as well as a school bully.
Chloe Sullivan was able to heal others, although in the process she appears to feel the pain of the wound she is healing. At first, her power manifested itself through healing tears. She was able to use her tears to bring her cousin Lois Lane back from the dead, but in the process she died herself. She later demonstrated more control over her power, healing Jimmy Olsen's finger just by concentrating. The range of Chloe's powers also encompass a healing factor that enables her to come back to life whenever her life force becomes depleted while healing somebody else.

Dr. Pamela Black, a scientist hired by Oliver Queen's Queen Industries, developed a drug named RL65 that gave subjects a healing factor. It was used repeatedly by the Green Arrow until its side effect - intermittent rage - forced him to stop using the drug.
The Lazarus Serum is a healing serum concocted by Metron Pharmaceutical Labs made from Clark Kent's blood that gives a deceased human 12 hours of life.
[edit] Unknown sources of healing
There are some metahumans with a healing factor of unknown origin.
The immortal Curtis Knox was able to heal himself almost instantly from any wound, and had been alive for hundreds of years.
Bizarro, a Zoner who sampled Clark Kent's Kryptonian DNA, also has a healing factor which allows him to heal when exposed to green kryptonite.
The Martian Manhunter also has a healing factor, but it does not work within the Earth's atmosphere.
