Kevin Grady is a metahuman with the ability to alter or erase part of a person's memory.

Kevin Grady has the ability to shoot a green form of energy, similar to lightning, which focuses in on the subject's forehead. When used on humans, this energy then removes the subject's memory of the last few minutes; this was shown when he used his power on Lois Lane, who could remember working in the Talon, but didn't seem to have noticed any time had elapsed.

When Kevin used his powers on the Kryptonian Clark Kent, he accidentally wiped all of Clark's memory. Kevin showed surprise that he managed to do this when Clark told him, and said that all past victims had only lost a few minutes. This suggested that Clark's memory and/or Kryptonian physiology works different than that of humans.

Kevin suffered severe emotional trauma from his belief that he accidentally killed his brother Dylan while on a hunting trip. His father, Dr. Grady admitted him to the Summerholt Institute for memory alteration treatment in order to make him forget the trauma. However, the treatments were torturous and agonizing, and Kevin escaped the facility with the ability to emit a green flash of light that could erase a short part of a person's memory. At the last part of the first time that he appeared , he also used his power to erase the Sheriff and Lois's memory about Clark.

Kevin attempted to rob the Talon coffee shop one day, and when Clark tried to stop him stealing money, Kevin erased Clark's entire memory, which he didn't intend to do. Clark and Chloe found evidence that he was at Summerholt and that he actually wasn't responsible for his brother's death. Clark helped Kevin come to terms with what really happened, and the two decided to break into the Summerholt Institute to see if they could find a cure for Clark's amnesia.

However, Chloe had also broken into the institute and had been captured by Dr. Grady. Clark saved her, but in the process, was unable to conceal his powers from Lois Lane and Sheriff Adams. Kevin wiped their memories to keep Clark's secret. He thanked Clark for his help and left town.
