Mike Tollin born in Havertown, Pennsylvania in 1956 and is a movie director and producer. His real name was "Michael Jay Tollin". He was an executive producer from Smallville since the series debut.

His career highlights included Radio, Coach Carter, and Varsity Blues.

He frequently collaborates with Brian Robbins in which they own a production company together called Tollin/Robbins Productions. They created and produced such shows like All That, The Amanda Show, Kenan & Kel, One Tree Hill, Smallville, What I Like About You,The Bronx is Burning and a few others.

He was an executive poducer for all episodes of Season 1, Season 2, Season 3, Season 4, Season 5, Season 6 and Season 8. In Season 7 was absent since the season premiere until the half of the season, returning in the episode Blue onwards.

In the Season 9 so far, only two episodes has been produced by him, Echo and Crossfire
