[edit] Sidebar
The Smallville Wiki sidebar menu will be updated twice during the show's summer hiatus. Season 8 will be added to the sidebar with the release of the first episode name. The Character list will be updated in September with the airing of the season premier, as it is dependent on who appears in the opening credits.
[edit] Quote of the day
User:Adam Arredondo has created a template that generates a Quote of the Day for the Main Page. The template works like a jukebox: anyone can add a quote that will be displayed on the next available day by editing the template. The template has a link on the Main page, or one can search for "quote" to find it, then read the instructions on the template page. Quotes are not limited to those that are already on display on the episode pages, but try to type it exactly as said, with correct punctuation. Please keep in mind that the template does not contain values for action description or replies, so users should pick a quote that is one line and can be easily understood in and of itself.
[edit] Wiki Maintenance
Recently, many pages were renamed or moved to meet the conventions of online wiki encyclopedias. Thanks goes to all the editors who contributed to this project so efficiently and quickly. The cleanup also results in hundreds of minor edits as redirects are changed. If they wish, users can filter these minor edits out on their Recent Changes pages to only reflect significant edits.

There is now a box for users to vote on the upcoming Featured Articles to be displayed on the Main Page. It is located on the Talk Page of the Main Page.
