Super speed

Super speed is the ability to move incredibly quickly, often appearing as a blur to others.

All Kryptonians naturally possess super-speed under a yellow sun, including Clark Kent. ^[1] Super-speed is one of the easiest Kryptonian powers to control; Clark Kent first displayed super speed at age 6 while playing tag (Transference). The human Lana Lang also quickly mastered super-speed, after Clark's powers were transferred to her through electricity and kryptonite. Kryptonian super-speed can give out during solar flares. Perry

Other aliens species can often super speed. Aliens to display super speed include Martian Manhunter, Maxima, Bizarro, and the Kryptonian computer Brainiac.

Super-speed is also common among metahumans. The metahuman Bart Allen is the fastest entity to display super-speed, capable of outrunning Clark Kent; he could also run so fast that he could run across water. (Run) Emily Dinsmore became so fast that she could vibrate her molecules at such high speeds that she could move through solid objects. (Forsaken) Lana Lang also gained super speed as a result of Project Prometheus.

Whenever any exhibitors of super speed use it, it is implied that they see the world as moving in slow-motion (as seen in various scenes) and can thus do almost anything they could at a normal-speed while moving in super-speed-mode. If certain super-speedsters are really fast, only others with super-speed themselves can see them in mid-super-speed-movement.

• It can be noted that every character with super speed has a different color flash behind them depending on the color of their attire, except for Martian Manhunter. Clark Kent has either blue or red, while Kara, Bart Allen and Martian Manhunter have red. Raya has yellow, Maxima has green and Braniac had black, while Davis was dark grey.
