hey guys i think that doomsday might be somehow related to faora, as she mentions him as her son in the trailer but am not sure though.

Observations[]

  • In Zod, General Zod demands that Lana give him an heir. If Zod knew that his "son" had traveled with Kal-El to Earth, it's unknown why he would ask her to give him a second child.
However, Zod's intentions were to repopulate with Lana, but Faora says Davis was created to destroy Earth, so he must have changed his plans. Marikology 06:14, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
It could be possible, but unlikely, that Zod had actually forgotten about Davis because if he had just come to Earth, wouldn't he want to go and find his son? That's just my idea. Jezza88 9:03, 8 November 2008 (UTC)

Another possibillity[]

Maybee he was trying to destroy earth, so he could repopulate it, though he already has a son. Let's face it, do we really expect Davis to do what his father wanted, by blood Davis is there son, but he was created to destroy earth. Davis is a weapon, not a heir.

Could this episode be setting up a future storyline for Season 9? Faora said she will be back when her son is ready. Tess gathered information about Kal-El's spaceship but it wasn't clear from Tess' perspective if Faora meant she was Kal-El's mother or Doomsdays! With Tess' involvement with the Orb in Injustice and with her apparent involvement with the symbol of Zod showing up in the Doomsday trailer could Tess possibly be helping Zod thinking he is Clark's father?! Maybe Zod could then bring Faora back to inhabit Tess. The possibilities are endless, but it seems that this episode is pivotal to the future of the show. Clarkloisforever 14:35, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
