Code names on the show[]

How we know that Tess, Amanda and Lois are called pawns, knights and all that? I don´t remember seeing any references to these code names, especially for Icicle (Blck pawn). The only thing I saw was that Lois's cell phone say that "The Wall" was calling, obviously referring to Amanda. If is by the chess pieces that appeared, Tess should be the Queen, right?. Someone may give evidence on these names for the article? RoR-El 10:54, 2 March 2010

I don't think there ever was any mention of code-names. Someone must of just added that out of speculation and reference to the comic books. Best it be taken off. --SuperBlahBlah 14:30, March 2, 2010 (UTC)

At some point or another, a chess piece has been used to identify most of these people. The White Queen piece for Waller, the Black King emblem on Lord's suit, Lois' white pawn, the black knight for Saks, etc. I do not recall seeing one for Icicle, but I think it can be pretty heavily inferred.Bigwagz8 23:48, April 28, 2010 (UTC)

If code names have been used, we should definitely use them! But we can't infer stuff not shown on screen... that falls into the realm of speculation, which we try to avoid. Thanks! --Kanamekun 23:50, April 28, 2010 (UTC)

Checkmate Management[]

In the episode Charade, Maxwell Lord (The Black King) states clearly that he's no Waller, who acts and leads through barking orders while she sits at her desk. It also goes hand in hand with the side that she represents, I don't remember what episode mentioned that White = Information Desk Agents and Black = Active Field Agents. She is not the leader of the entire Checkmate organization, of which is said on this page. So her title needs to be changed. SilverAero (talk) 14:53, June 28, 2013 (UTC)
