Some of the summaries on this page are too long. For the Season 1 page, I tried to write summaries of 50 words or less. That turned out to be impossible. For this page I'm going to try for 100 words or less. The page looks best when all the summaries are approximately the same length, but I also think it's important to mention each story line. I don't think it's important to maintain any of the suspense. I always figure I'm writing these for people who have seen the show, but they jsut can't remember what happened in which episode. -Samantha's Mom 07:57, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

Most of these summaries were taken from TV.com, TV Guide, or the CW website or something like that, and are usually the "official" summary- the little blurb you read in TV listings, so that's why there is an element of suspense- you want to know what's happening on Smallville tonight, but you don't want to know the whole story if you're about to watch it, yanno? That said, they are probably not originally written for the wiki, so I don't think anybody would object if you want to rewrite them. For Season 2, I've written some summaries the actual episode pages, but none on this table. If you want summaries on the table and the episode pages to match, that's cool too, I don't care what you do with the ones I've written. Marikology 20:12, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
