- According to an interview with Al Gough in the December 2007 issue of SFX Magazine, Clark will begin wearing glasses as he takes steps toward developing his secret identity. Gough also confirmed that they have a definite ending in mind for the series, but that we will never see Clark in the famous red-and-blue tights. However, as Gough is no longer involved in producing the show, it remains to be seen if his interview is still relevant.

- Because he did have a contract for Season 8, meaning if the show wants him, they've got him. He could always appear in flashbacks, and this is Smallville, no one ever really dies, haha. Marikology 17:41, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
