- TV Guide Magazine's Matt Mitovich has revealed that Serinda Swan will be returning as Zatanna in an episode titled "Warrior"
- Smallville's writers are currently researching the "Action" episode.
- Ausiello has revealed that this episode will feature the "Metropolis Wonder-Con" and will feature the introduction of a character who may be a new love interest for Chloe.
- Brian Peterson has revealed that “Warrior” was about Warrior Angel and that is a very Chloe-centric episode. TV GUIDE MAGAZINE
- Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello has revealed that Carlo Marks has been cast to play Steven Swift, "also known as Warrior Angel." And yes, this is Chloe's new love interest. Marks previously appeared as Chloe's financee in the alternate-reality episode "Apocalypse" back in Season 7.
- The episode "Warrior" (featuring Zatanna!) has been bumped up to 11th in the line-up.
